We left Flagstaff yesterday for the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. This marks the 3rd year we've come to the South Rim in December and from the short drive through the park we see we won't be disappointed this year. We traveled through very snow and periods of very heavy wind to get to our hotel, the Grand Hotel which is located about a mile from the entrance to the Grand Canyon South Entrance. Seeing as how we were a little early we decided to drive through the park and see what we might be able to capture.
