We've seen plenty of moose since we've been here however they've all been mothers with their young, so far we've haven't seen any giant bull moose with paddles. But we keep looking. The first three images here are from a couple days ago of a mother and calf sunning themselves in the late afternoon sun. The following are from this morning near sunrise at a temperature of 23 degrees; we could actually see some frost on their hides. These moose were all taken at or near the Gros Ventre area north of Jackson near the town of Moose .
The images were all taken with Sandy 's Canon 1DsIII and a 70-200 lens with a 1.4 extender.
Enjoy!
