We've written briefly about White Sands last month as we made out way east to the Big Cypress National Preserve.  We were so taken with White Sands we decided to alter our travel plans and stop again on our way home.

Arriving late morning we were greeted with near perfect conditions; little to no wind, cloudy skies and a camel named Matilda.

Matilda and Don were almost able to see eye to eye which was something new for her.  All the images were taken with the 120mm at either f/11 or f/8 with ISO50.  The shutter speed was as slow as 1/250 and as fast as 1/500.

The wind picked up and it was getting late so we decided to check into our hotel.   Early the next morning found us back at White Sands for a sunrise shot.
